These lilac wood earrings have just a touch of purple. Some woods like lilac react to water which creates a color variation. In the case of lilac, it creates a purp0le vein. Lilac has 2 kinds of wood. The heartwood which is darker and much harder like our bones give the branch stability. This is surrounded by a softer and lighter layer where the nutrients run.
